To get started, ITECS holds a telephone call between decision-makers and ITECS principals to provide an overall orientation; discuss the scope and goals; and identify growth objectives, potential projects, and costs and benefits. We qualify the opportunity by identifying the funding source prior to signing the contract with the client. No risk is involved for you!

ITECS then works with you to set objectives and goals, create an experienced ITECS team customized for your needs, conduct preliminary and secondary research, and draft a plan. ITECS completes primary and secondary research to identify the funding source that aligns with your growth strategies. Defining & Refining Your Message

ITECS identifies the project’s value proposition or your firm’s competitive edge, defines your brand as it relates to various projects, introduces your company’s key leaders to agency and congressional decision-makers, refines messages, and manages ongoing communications. As part of the process, ITECS develops a white paper to position your message with the agencies and Congress.

Accessing Political and Agency Processes

ITECS has relationships with 85 percent of congressional offices and we reach into 70 percent of the 257 agency laboratories. These relationships allow ITECS to determine R&D resources, identify testing facilities beneficial to the project, determine and capture procurement opportunities, and accelerate market penetration with our thorough understanding of codes, regulations, and tax incentives.

Qualifying the Program

Based on the feedback from the agencies and with your input, the ITECS team decides whether to proceed. If it looks promising, a plan is developed to pursue already appropriated funds or a congressional appropriations request. A clear path forward is identified for you.
